Man critical after tree felling accident  

The man and other workers were cutting the tree in Sarnia when it fell on him.

A man believed to be 35 years old, is in a critical condition after a large tree fell on him in Sarnia yesterday afternoon, (Thursday, 18 January).

According to ER24 spokesman, Annine Siddall, paramedics arrived at the scene after Fire and Rescue personnel managed to rescue the man from under the tree.

“It is believed the man and a group of other workers were felling the tree when it fell on him. His abdomen and back was injured,” said Siddall.

The man was treated on scene and taken to RK Khan hospital.
