Kiara sets the bar for Kloof’s Grade 12 learners

Kiara Pillay not only achieved seven distinctions but also came third in the KZN District and ninth in the province.

PRINCIPAL of Kloof High School, Dawn Lefort, congratulated all the matriculants of 2017 on a fine set of National Senior Certificate results.

She said she is extremely proud of Kiara Pillay who not only achieved seven distinctions, but also came third in the KZN District and ninth in the province.

Kiara received her awards at a special ceremony hosted by the Department of Education at the ICC on Friday.

Other top achievers mentioned were: Ryan Abraham and Kaelin Hartog who also achieved seven distinctions. Both Ryan and Kaelin came second and third in the Grade at the school’s annual senior prize giving held in October last year.

Lefort said each and every one of the learners can be proud of their individual achievements and she wished them well for their continued studies in 2018.
