Crafty projects for children at libraries

Looking for something fun for your children to do this holiday?

WITH the holidays just around the corner, Kloof Library and Waterfall Library have come up with the perfect holiday programme to keep your children active this December.

Kloof Library’s holiday programme activities will run from 10am to 11am on selected days.

Join Zama in making a snowman on Monday, 11 December. Make Christmas hats with Lelo on Tuesday, 12 December. Have fun in making a Christmas tree on Wednesday, 14 December with Maria and on Thursday, 14 December make Christmas masks with Veronica.

Waterfall Library’s Christmas holiday programme kicks off on Friday, 8 December with crafting decorations and Christmas cards.

The children will make a Nativity scene on Tuesday, 12 December. Take a shoe box and five toilet rolls along. It’s story time on Thursday, 14 December; finger painting on Tuesday, 19 December and finally all about painting animal faces on Thursday, 21 December.

All activities are free. Bring a pair of scissors to all activities at the library, 11 Link Road in Waterfall. Contact 031 763 3231.
