Seven injured as bakkie overturns on N3, near Peacevale
The seven people injured were travelling on the back of the bakkie.
SEVEN people were injured this morning when a bakkie overturned on the N3 highway near the Peacevale off-ramp in Hillcrest.

Russel Meiring, ER24 spokesman said paramedics, along with other services, arrived at the scene and found the bakkie lying on its side in the middle of the road. Several passengers, that had been travelling on the back of the bakkie were now found walking around at the scene.
“Paramedics assessed the passengers and found that seven had suffered injuries ranging from minor to moderate. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were recorded,” said Meiring.

The injured were treated before being transported to Hillcrest Private and Life Westville Hospital.
Traffic was heavily affected on the highway due to the collision. Local authorities will investigate.
