Senior citizen groups from the Queensburgh area performed items showcasing their talent.

“Preteesh Singh held the audience captive with his rendition of bhajaans and old and modern classic songs,” added W/O Marimuthu.

The smoking Annastacia Govender with her alter ego persona, ‘Annalakshmi Govender from Chennai Act’, sent hoots of laughter through the crowd.

“The showstopper was the iconic and hallmark performer, Mervyn Pillay, with his mind-blowing act that lit up the stage and had the audience in stitches.

“His fiery act included local humour and leapt to Bollywood style song, dance and laughter,” said W/O Marimuthu.
