Yacht club in full sail for an OktoberFest

Durban's versatile singer, Don Seagreen will provide great music.

SAILORS and beer have been a historically good combination going back aeons, and this October getting in the spirit of things the Point Yacht Club will be hosting an OktoberFest on Saturday, 21 October.

The club’s legendary resident chef, Chef Markus Bänziger, will be sharing his ‘Swiss-German’ roots again, organising a German-themed menu that includes Cervelat, Bockwurst, Eisbein, Fleischkäse and Bratwurst all served with his own Swiss style Rösti Potato or his fabulous Sauerkraut.

Durban’s versatile singer, Don Seagreen will provide great music.

Charlies Bar will screen both Currie Cup semi-finals so rugby fans don’t miss out.

Entry is R30 per person, payable at the door. Drinks and food will be for your own account.

Parking is available at the Point Yacht Club’s parking, secure parking fee of R15 will apply for visitors. The festivities kick off at 2pm and continue past sunset.
