LISTEN: Protesters block M19, motorists urged to use alternate routes
Andreas Mathios of Blue Security has listed alternate routes for motorists in the area.
RESIDENTS of the squatter camp adjacent to the M19 and Kennedy Road are protesting again.
The protests is allegedly about illegal shacks that are being demolished at the moment which is causing friction at the settlement.
The road is blockaded with burning debris and crowds are gathering. Reports of the protesters throwing stones at vehicles have also surfaced.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area or use alternate routes. SAPS are on scene.
