Weather alert: Severe thunderstorms rage across KZN
Heavy down pour, hail, strong winds and even 'urban flooding' could accompany the storm.
THE South African Weather service has issued a weather alert as severe thunderstorms hit KwaZulu-Natal.
Meterologist Aslam Sardiwalla, said that heavy down pour, hail, strong winds and even ‘urban flooding’ could accompany the storm.

Sardiwalla said the storm is moving in a south easterly direction and would predominately affect the southern and central Drakensburg, Uderberg, Mooi River, Durban and Margate areas.
The storm is expected to last throughout the night and additional heavy down pours are expected in KZN tomorrow – along the coast and southern interior.
