Two taxis collides in New Germany, pedestrian injured

The taxi drivers sustained minor injuries.

A MAN believed to be in his late 20s, sustained moderate injuries when two taxis collided on the corner of Freese and Posselt Road in New Germany this morning.

ER24 spokesperson,  Annine Siddall, said, “The man was crossing the road when he was caught in the middle of both taxis. Paramedics arrived and found the pedestrian lying next to the road. He was treated for wounds he sustained to his legs and back and was transported to RK Khan hospital.”

“The drivers of the taxis, both believed to be in their late 30s, sustained minor injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals.”

Siddall said there were no passengers in the taxis.
