Fond farewell to inspirational fund-raiser

During her six months as a volunteer at the organisation, she secured funding to build a Remembrance Wall.

IN January 2017, Lisa Brooker, an accomplished fund-raiser with many years of experience, joined the Animal Anti-Cruelty League as a volunteer fund-raiser.

She took up this role for a short period while she was preparing to return home to the UK.

During her six months with the AACL, she spread the word far and wide regarding the League’s dedicated work to the care and protection of all animals.

Among her many achievements, CWM Charitable Trust kindly donated funds to assist in the building of a Remembrance Wall.

The Wall is almost complete and will be featured in the organisation’s next newsletter.

“Lisa has enormous energy and passion and was an absolute joy to have in the office. We all miss her and wish her well in her journey forward,” said Judi Gibson, the general manager of the Animal Anti-Cruelty League.
