UPDATE: Multiple vehicle crash on the N3 Durban bound

New information has come to light regarding the crash.

Garrith Jamieson of Rescue Care paramedics said: “A total of 20 people were treated on the scene with injuries ranging from minor to moderate before being transported to various Durban hospitals. Traffic was severely affected on both carriageways due to the accident.”

At this stage the exact cause of the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will investigate.

Alternative routes:
Motorists can take the M19 or the M13 highway towards Durban.

 

 

RESCUE paramedics are responding to a multi-vehicle collision on the N3 Durban bound before Pavilion.

The collision involved a truck, a taxi and three cars with an alleged 22 people injured.

Authorities are on scene and reports claim that there is a massive backlog of traffic. Motorists are urged to avoid the area.
