Boy held at knife point in Malvern home invasion

The suspects fled with cellphones and other household items.

SIX men armed with knives invaded a home in Malvern while a child was outside feeding his dogs and forced him to enter the home at knife point, recently.

“When in the house, the rest of the family was forced to lie on the floor and were searched,” said Malvern SAPS communications officer, Warrant Officer Radhika Marimuthu.

According to Marimuthu, a family member entered the living room which caught the suspects by surprise and they stabbed him.

The suspects fled with cellphones and other household items. While fleeing, the suspects dropped their knives and a cellphone.

A case of house robbery has been registered and is being investigated.
