TWO nurses from a private hospital helped deliver a healthy baby girl on the side of Kassier Road in Hillcrest earlier today.
Michelle Smith, a Meditech paramedic, said the Meditech ambulance crew was called to assist at a bus stop on Kassier Road. The baby was delivered by two nurses from Hillcrest Private Hospital who handed the mother and baby over to Meditech paramedics.
“The mother, Mary Muthiha, gave birth to a healthy baby girl named, Khadidya Muthiha, without any complications. Both baby and the mother were in good health at the birth and were safely transported to a government medical facility,” said Smith.
