WATCH: Truck catches alight on M7 freeway

The M7 freeway was closed for about 45 minutes last night.

A TRUCK travelling on Durban’s M7 freeway caught alight last night, Sunday, 18 June.

While on routine patrol around 11.45pm, Blue Security area manager, Vikesh Singh, spotted the blazing incident.

The M7 freeway was closed for about 45 minutes while firefighters battled for 20 minutes to get the fire under control.

Luckily there were no reports of injuries and the freeway was reopened once the fire was doused.
