Riverside gears up for festival
This is the largest annual mini hockey festival in the country.
AVID hockey players from across the Highway area will participate in the biggest mini hockey festival in South Africa at Riverside Sports in Durban North on Friday, 16 June.
It is the biggest annual mini hockey festival in the country and this year the anticipated attendance is expected to exceed numbers from previous years.
“The Spur Riverside Festival aims to celebrate our youth on this public holiday in an active and fun environment with their peers and family.
“Children between the ages of six and 13 years old will gather with one common objective in mind – pure hockey enjoyment,” said Alan Timms, chairman of the Riverside Hockey Club.
