Your ‘change can’ make a difference

Volunteer your time and help raise much-needed funds for the Malvern and Youth Care Centre.

THE Malvern Child and Youth Care Centre has not found enough volunteers to manage its Collection Tin project.

“We still desperately need help with this fund-raising project,” said PR and fund-raising manager, Lee Jarrett.

According to Jarrett, the collection tins not only help to raise funds, but also much needed awareness about the child and youth care centre.

They need people to assist in the following areas; Durban North and uMhlanga, Upper Highway and Malvern, Queensburgh and Bluff.

PR and fund-raising manager, Lee Jarrett ready to raise some change for the home.

The volunteers would need to collect the tins from me and then get them placed at various retail outlets that agree to having the collection tins on their counters.

“It will be their responsibility to monitor the progress of the tins (check how full they are) and then replace them once they are full. The tins will then be returned to me un-opened,” she said.

The volunteers need to have their own transport and pay for the cost of transporting the tins.

To be part of this project contact Lee on 031 464 0236.
