Roadside attackers strike again on N2
The man was robbed and stabbed in the head.
A motorist was stabbed while waiting for assistance after his car broke down on the N2 south bound approaching the M7, this afternoon.
According to Rescue Care’s Garrith Jamieson, the man was robbed and stabbed in the head.
Andreas Mathios, Blue Security media and community liaison officer, said, “Two men came out of the bush demanding valuables and one of the suspects took items from the man’s car.”
In a similar incident last week, a man in his 30s was stabbed multiple times after his vehicle broke down on the N2 North Bound after the M7 interchange in Durban.
Items stolen from the vehicle were later recovered and Cato Manor SAPS are investigating the incident.
