Hunter Tilling is still in a coma however the family are hopeful that she will wake up within the next few days.

HUNTER Tilling’s family have made contact with witnesses who saw the serious head-on-collision along Riverside Road on Friday, 14 April.

According to a post on the Help Hunter Tilling Facebook page, those witnesses were the ones who called the emergency services. The Tilling family now have more clarity on what happened on the night of the accident and wanted to make it clear that the accident was not a hit-and-run, but a collision.

“We’ve made contact with the family of the driver (a 57-year-old woman) of the other vehicle and now we know she was also transported to hospital with injuries. She was also hurt in the accident but her injuries were not as serious as Hunter’s. We wish her a speedy recovery on behalf of the Tilling family and friends,” said Bridget Studzinski, a close family friend.
