Easter treasure hunt at uShaka

This adventure will also include the opportunity to view penguin eggs and shark eggs which will amaze future little marine biologists.

THE Easter Bunny will be hopping, bopping and stowing away chocolate treasures at uShaka Marine World as part of the annual Beacon Easter egg hunt on Monday and Tuesday, 15 and 16 April.

The mega egg hunt will be celebrated with 100 000 marshmallow beacon eggs (in the form of tokens) hidden in nooks and crannies across the continent’s largest marine theme park.

Each child entering the park will receive a goodie bag with an Easter treasure map featuring a number of exciting clues which draw attention to the many animals housed at the park – so not only will you collect Easter eggs, but you will be able to see all of the amazing creatures at the same time, allowing the whole family to enjoy the expedition.

This adventure will also include the opportunity to view penguin eggs and shark eggs which will amaze future little marine biologists.

Not only can the children claim their tasty treats by participating in the hunt, but there are also fun activities planned in the aquarium and uShaka Kids World where the little ones can participate in fun activities to increase their chocolate loot.

On both days, the hunt begins bright and early at 7am with the adventure ending after 8am after which guests can see the special Easter Dolphin Show that starts at 8.30am, starring the uShaka Marine World’s Ocean Warrior Mascots Delia the Dolphin, Slippy the Seal, Rusty the Penguin and Raggy the Shark as well as the Easter Bunny and uShaka’s world famous dolphins!

Tickets are R140 each. Buy yours in advance at uShaka Marine World online ticketing.
