Police seek family of deceased

Anyone who has information that could help police can contact the Pinetown SAPS.

PINETOWN police have appealed for assistance to find the relatives of a man and woman who died in two separate incidents.

In the first incident, a white man, believed to be 45 years old, was hit by a car in Bamboo Lane, Pinetown on 31 December.

He was taken to the RK Khan Hospital where he died the same day.

Anyone who has information, can contact the investigating officer, D/Cst IS Khathi on 072 3456 433 or 031 3255 035.

In a separate case, a 46-year-old woman died at RK Hospital from natural causes on 8 November 2016.

Pinetown SAPS communications officer, W/O Muzi Maphumulo said, “The woman collapsed near Wyebank Library on 4 November and was admitted at RK Khan Hospital.”

“The only information available are the details on the referral card from Wyebank clinic.”

The deceased is known as Lucia Ndlovu from the Umgababa area, lower Molweni, and according to Maphumuloh, there are no details of any relatives.

Anyone with information is urged contact the investigating officer, Det/Sgt Mariette Smit on 031 325 5054 during office hours.

Both bodies are being kept at the Pinetown mortuary.
