NATHAN Riddle, a Grade 7 pupil at Thomas More College is the primary school’s SPAR Star of the Month.
Nathan is a talented and versatile sportsman and has represented TMC’s 1st team for cricket, swimming, hockey, soccer, rugby and is an accomplished cross country runner. Nathan has been the Victor Ludorum for athletics for the past three years and was named as the 2016 athlete of the year.
He has represented PADSSA in hockey, high jump and the 1200m. He recently raked in a slew of sporting achievements, the first of which included a tied first place with his twin brother, Luke, at the open boys’ champion of champions swimming gala for 2017. During a cricket match he had a superb wicket taking spree of five wickets for 19 runs (in five overs) as well as receiving a silver medal at the KZN athletics championships for high jump last weekend. “We are very proud of this talented young man,” said the school’s marketing manager, Kim Hooper.
