Motorists be advised: Planned Hammarsdale blasting operation
SANRAL will begin a blasting operation at the Hammarsdale interchange from 3pm to 4pm tomorrow.
MOTORISTS are urged to take note that there will be a blasting operation at the Hammarsdale Interchange on the N3 on Thursday, 26 January at about 3pm.
Both carriageways of the N3 between the Cato Ridge and Peacevale Interchanges will be closed between 3pm and 4pm.
However, the blasting date may be adjusted depending on the weather conditions.
Traffic will be diverted onto the R103 at the Shongweni and Cato Ridge interchanges.
Meadway Road will be closed due its close proximity to the blast site. Traffic on Meadway Road will be diverted via Thousand Hills Drive.
