Christmas Cheer to add a Rock ‘n Roll merry mix
A merry mix of Rock 'n Roll party favourites saluting all things festive with a sprinkling of some jolly holiday Christmas sing-a-longs.
GET in the festive spirit with a little Christmas Cheer, a great family choice for this festive season, only at the Rhumbelow Theatre in Umbilo. With just four performances, make sure you have your ticket to join guitarist Barry Thomson, keyboard player Dawn Selby, bassist Jason Andrew and vocalist Marion Loudon.
Sticking to last year’s winning formula, the song sheet offers hits from festive season shows in which the ace team of musicians and singers have featured in recent years, a merry mix of Rock ‘n Roll party favourites saluting all things festive with a sprinkling of some jolly holiday Christmas sing-a-longs.
The festive fare on Friday, 23 and Saturday, 24 December at 2pm and at 4.30pm includes Jingle Bell Rock, All I Want For Christmas, Let It Snow, White Christmas, Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, Santa Claus is Coming to Town and Merry Christmas Everyone. Head to the Rhumbelow Theatre on 42 Cunningham Road for the perfect way to gear up for Christmas and the countdown to 2017.
Tickets are R140 each, R120 for pensioners and just R70 for under 13s. Bring food picnic baskets. Braais will be available should you wish to cook some meat. No alcohol may be brought onto the premises, a bar will be available. There is limited secure parking available. Booking is essential.
