Kloof dancers twirl to victory

Three dancers won a host of awards at a provincial event in Margate recently.

THREE talented dancers from the Dance Fitness Studio in Kloof recently raked in awards at the KZN Freestyle Dance Provincial and Festival Championships in Margate.

Ayanda Ncgobo is 10-years-old and has a passion for dance. At the competition she placed sixth in the 10 to 11 age category in syllabus slow dance. Bianca Almanza, a 14-year-old, placed first in three events, placed third in two dances and placed sixth in the 14 to 15 age group in the beginner and novice solo, slow dance and syllabus slow dance categories. Madison Layla Bromfield placed first twice and second twice in the 14 to 15 age groups in novice slow dance, freestyle solo and syllabus slow dance.

Bianca and Madison then danced as a pair at the event and were placed first in four of the events, which included novice rock and roll couples and freestyle medal couples.
