Take note of Amashova’s road closures

For the safety of the cyclists and motorists, roads will be closed across Durban for the event.

THOUSANDS of cyclists and visitors will flock to Durban for the Tsogo Sun Amashova Durban Classic event on Sunday, 16 October. For safety reasons, the Durban Metro and KZN Traffic Authorities will close the roads to motorists for a limited time only on race day to ensure the safety of the cyclists and motorists on the route during the event.

Chief Albert Luthuli St to Alexandra Road will be closed from 4am to 9.30am.

Alexandra Road to Umlaas Road will be closed from 5am to noon.

Umlaas Road to the R103 in Inchanga/1000 Hills will be closed from 4.30am to 12.30pm.

The 103 in Inchanga to the Botha’s Hill Butchery will be closed from 4am to 2pm.

R103 Patna Road to Kassier Road/M13 on ramp will be closed from 4am to 2pm.

M13 (Hillcrest) to the M13 (Westville) will be closed from 4am to 3pm.

The M13 (Westville) to the M13 (45th Cutting) will be closed from 4am to 3pm.

The N3 outbound to Monty Naiker Street will be closed from 5am to 3.15pm.

Monty Naiker Street (Pine Street) will be closed from 4am to 3.45pm.

Masabalala Yengwa Ave (South Bound) will be closed from 4am to 4pm.
