Little Life Group observes World Breastfeeding Week
To mark the special week, the baby clinic held a raffle for World Breastfeeding Week, which was won by Jenene Smook.
LITTLE Life Group, a support group for new moms at Life The Crompton Hospital, observed World Breastfeeding Week at their meeting on Tuesday, 2 August.
World Breastfeeding Week was held from 1 to 7 August. Little Life Group is a place for mothers to meet, relax and chat. Discussions concerning baby, women’s issues and changes occurring as a result of becoming a mother are regular features of the group. Babies are weighed each week to check for adequate growth. The Baby Clinic also offers every mother a consultation at any stage of the baby’s development which is a much more comprehensive assessment of the baby.
To mark the special week, the baby clinic held a raffle for World Breastfeeding Week, which was won by Jenene Smook. The mothers enjoyed coffee and tea, sat back and chatted about their experiences with their growing children. The group meets every Tuesday from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
