Westville Old Boys’ go for knock out cup

Support the Westville Old Boys as they take on the UKZN Impis this weekend.

THE Westville Old Boys’ Rugby 1st team will take on the UKZN Impis from Pietermaritzburg in The Castle Murray Cup Knock-Out Competition on Saturday 17 August.

This is the first time that Westville has qualified for the contest after playing a good first season in the First Division. The team has gone from strength to strength, with great determination and team commitment from both the players and coach, making it a successful one for all.

WOB are keen and ready to take on this Premier Division side team in what promises to be a great game of rugby, showing off some of Westville Old Boys’ finest former 1st team players, with the average age of the players being 22 years old.

The game will kick off at 2.30pm on the Jimmy Bellows field in Westville.

With school boy rugby season at an end, there is expected to be a massive crowd of supporters.

So take your family and friends along as the WOBSC Bar and tuckshop are gearing up for what should be a festive afternoon of club rugby.
