Bike association grows rapidly
The MMA are a group of MOTHs with a common interest in biking.
THE MOTH Motorcycle Association (MMA) had its inauguration for the KZN Chapter at Flame Lily Park on Saturday, 27 February.
The ceremony was well attended with many dignitaries, MOTHS, friends and bikers who enjoyed an afternoon of festivities and comradeship.
The MMA are a group of MOTHs with a common interest in biking.
MMA chairman, Alwyn Harding, said the MOTH Motorcycle Association was conceived, and finally born in Cape Town, on the 17 May 2009 with rules and standing orders approved by GHQ Durban.
“The MMA grew rapidly in the Western Cape and on 13 February 2011, the platinum chapter was born in Pretoria.
“Two and a half years later, and due to great interest, the Southern KZN Chapter was born in Pietermaritzburg on 16 November 2013.
“For non-MOTHs there are the Friends of the MOTHs who are an important part of our great and respected association,” said Harding.
