Sangoma curse believed to have caused taxi accident

Passengers believe that the driver of the taxi was cursed by a sangoma.

IT is alleged that a taxi driver was cursed by a sangoma before he crashed into a tree near the Richmond Road off-ramp today, 26 February.

ER24 paramedics received the emergency call and upon arrival found the taxi had crashed into a palm tree. The driver and his passengers were injured in the accident.

The 13 people were reported to have minor to moderate injuries. No serious or fatal injuries were reported. The commuters were then taken to various hospitals.

According to Russel Meiring, spokesman for ER24, reports from the scene indicate that the passengers believed the driver to have been cursed before the accident took place.
