Dance the night away

Tickets are limited and all seating will be at tables.

IN the style of André Rieu, the Durban City Orchestra presents A Night in Vienna an evening of waltzes, polkas and marches to satisfy all tastes. A fair selection of tangos, swing and mambos will add to the musical offerings at St Agnes’ Church in Kloof on Friday, 26 February.

Much-loved and popular favourites will be in the offering including Strauss’s immortal Blue Danube and Kaizer waltzes, plus In the Mood, the tango from Scent of a Woman, and some furious Latin dances.

And, in an exciting addition, the front of the venue will be cleared of tables to allow guests to take to the floor, dancing to the full DCO, something not often offered in Durban.

Guests are encouraged to turn out in all their splendour and style to match the Viennese Ball theme, so dust off those ballgowns and bowties.

All seating will be at tables. Take your own drinks and picnic baskets and revel in the wonder of Vienna while you dance the night away.

Tickets are limited and cost R100 per person, tables of 10 and eight are available. Music will start at 7.30pm and doors will open at 6.30pm. To book, contact 031 764 2037 or e-mail events@stagnes.org.za.
