PICTURES: One dead, three injured in M7 blaze
Two trucks and a car were involved in an accident on the M7 below the N2 bridge this morning.
ONE man was killed and three others were injured when two trucks and a light motor vehicle collided on the M7 under the N2 highway this morning, 15 February.
Ward 65 councillor, Chris van den Burg, said the trailer of one of the trucks had come unattached. “The trailer of the truck in front came off and hit another truck and car, and then hit the bridge and caught alight,” he said.
“The engine of the small car came off and was flung onto the Pinetown-bound lane,” he added.
Motorists are encouraged to take alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
