Five injured in N2/M7 accidents
A truck overturned on the M7 joining the N2 north-bound.
FIVE people were injured at the intersection of the N2 and M7 in two separate collisions before 7am on Tuesday, 2 February.
The first accident happened just after 6:30am when a truck overturned on the M7 joining the N2 north-bound. No one was injured, however the entire on-ramp was closed while the truck lay on its side.
Within a space of approximately 30 minutes, again on the same road, a collision on the other side of the intersection occurred between two cars joining the N2 south-bound. Five people sustained various injuries and were stabilised on the scene before being transported to various Durban hospitals.
It is unclear what caused the collisions, however authorities were on the scene investigating.
