THERE are many bargains to be found at the Kloof and Highway SPCA’s charity shops, so go through for a morning of treasure hunting at any one of its 11 stores.
“Our fully-stocked shops have everything and anything you are looking for,” said Lisa Gadd, the outreach officer at the Kloof and Highway SPCA.
The charity shops are open every Monday, Thursday and Saturday from 8am to noon and the last Sunday of every month from 9am to 1pm.
You can also donate your unwanted goods to be sold in the charity shops. “By receiving donations of all your unwanted items such as kitchenware, electrical appliances, computers, clothing books, toys, furniture and anything that is in good enough condition to be sold, we can raise valuable funds for animal welfare activities by selling these items in our various charity shops,” said Gadd.
The Kloof and Highway SPCA will also collect larger donations between Monday and Thursday between 8.30am to 3.30pm and Fridays from 8.30am to noon. Contact Bev on 031 764 1212/3 or e-mail marketing2@kloofspca.co.za to arrange a collection.
