Plan your year with the 2016 ‘Contrasts of Africa’ calendar

The funds from the sale of the 2016 ‘Contrasts of Africa’ wall and desk calendars, will be used by CROW for the expansion of the baby antelope enclosure.

SUPPORT the Centre of Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) by purchasing the 2016 ‘Contrasts of Africa’ wall and desk calendars.

The limited edition wildlife calendar is produced by the voluntary organisation ‘Under an African Sky’ which is a Compass Medical Waste Services initiative. All

proceeds from the sale of the calendar go to CROW to assist them with the rescue, rehabilitation and release of injured and orphaned wild animals. The funds from the 2016 calendar will be used by CROW for the expansion of their baby antelope enclosure.

According to Claire Hodgkinson, director of CROW, last year was one of the busiest years on record for the non-profit organisation, with their dedicated team providing life-saving care and treatment to more than 3400 injured and orphaned animals from across KwaZulu-Natal.

“On behalf of the animals we serve, I would like to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to our supporters and all of CROW’s donors, sponsors and partners for their generous support over the past year,” said Claire.

She said they celebrated their 35th anniversary last year which prompted their organisation to reflect and plan on how best they can position themselves to respond to the growing challenges and threats that wildlife is facing.

“We have a number of exciting projects and campaigns that we aim to undertake this year. This includes the expansion of our facilities and forming several new partnerships with like-minded organisations, that share our commitment to safeguarding our wildlife’s right to a free life in their natural habitat,” added Claire.

The wall and desk calendars are available at R170 and R50 respectively. To place an order, visit www.underanafricansky.co.za, email: orders@underanafricansky.co.za or contact 031 267 9700 and ask to be put through to Under An African Sky.
