Patlansky’s acoustic Blues for Open Strings

SOUTH African guitar virtuoso, Dan Patlansky, will perform solo and acoustic music at Open Strings in Kloof on Saturday, 30 January.
Patlansky was selected by the legendary Joe Satriani as special guest and support act on the European and UK legs of his Shockwave Tour 2015 taking in25 shows across 10 countries last year.
Amid rave reviews from European music press on the back of this tour, Patlansky’s 2015 UK album release ‘Dear Silence Thieves’, and 2012 album ’20 Stones’ both also reached the UK ITunes top 20 Blues albums in the first week of November last year.
Patlansky has also confirmed an eight-show joint tour with British blues rockers King King in May as well as a further 18 European shows in June as part of the European launch of his new album ‘Intro-Vertigo’ which is being released worldwide in March.
