PBHS happy with 69 bachelor passes

Pinetown Boys do well despite drop in pass rate.

PINETOWN Boys’ High School principal, Ray Naidoo, said even though the pass rate has decreased from last year’s result, he was please with the number of pupils who received bachelor passes.

The school’s top three matrics were, Blessed Nkuna who passed with an average of 89.7 per cent and seven distinctions in English, Afrikaans, Mathematics, Life Orientation, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences and Accounting.

Simphiwe Nyathikazi  passed with an average of 81 per cent and four distinctions in English, IsiZulu, Life Orientation and History.

Nathan Pentz achieved three distinctions in Afrikaans, Life Orientation and Mechanical Technology and passed with a 79.5 per cent average.

“Some of the students did very well and I am very proud of them,” said Naidoo.
