Pregnant woman injured in collision
Two women and four children were injured in a Cato Ridge collision.
A WOMAN believed to be 14 weeks pregnant was injured when a car collided with a bakkie in in Georgedale Road, Cato Ridge on Friday morning.
ER24 spokesman, Chitra Bodasing, said paramedics and other services arrived on scene and also found that a boy, believed to be three years old, had been ejected from the car.
“Paramedics assessed him and found that he sustained moderate injuries. His mother sustained minor injuries.”
Bodasing added that another woman and two boys, between three and five years old, who were travelling in the bakkie, sustained minor injuries.
“A girl, believed to be seven and who was also in the bakkie, sustained moderate injuries.”
The patients were treated and transported to local hospitals and the exact cause of the incident is unknown.
