Three people injured due to truck tyre
Three people were injured due to the force on the cab.
A MAN sustained serious injuries when a truck travelling on the N3 south-bound lost a tyre, which rolled into the north-bound carriageway and collided with a vehicle head-on.
The accident happened on Tuesday morning near the Paradise Valley bridge.
Garrith Jamieson from Rescue Care paramedics said paramedics found a truck tyre had collided with the front of a delivery vehicle.
Three people were injured due to the force on the cab.
“One man had sustained serious injuries and was stabilized by Rescue Care advanced life support paramedic before all three men were transported to a nearby private hospital for further care.
Jamieson said it is unclear how the tyre came off the truck however the necessary authorities were on scene and will be investigating.
