Vaccinate your pets against rabies

Make sure you get your pets vaccinated against this deadly disease.

The Kloof & Highway SPCA will host their annual Rabies Vaccination Clinic on Sunday, 28 June in the Kloof & Highway SPCA reception area, 29 Village Road, Kloof from 9am to 1pm.

The Rabies Vaccination Clinic is a follow-on to the first clinic, which was started in June 2012 following the dramatic increase in positive rabies cases around that time. Rabies vaccinations need to be done annually to ensure the vaccine remains effective, and thereby not only protect your companions but also your immediate family and community.

There will be no charge for the rabies vaccinations, however donations are welcome.

Owners are encouraged to bring existing vaccination history if they have it, but vaccination certificates will be provided if they do not. Dogs must be on leads and cats in secure cat cages.
