Robin Hood Foundation to host free conference

The Robin Hood Foundation is encouraging disadvantaged women to attend their free self empowering conference.

2015 is The Robin Hood Foundation’s tenth year serving the community, and between their regular projects they will host an exciting new event: Future Women of Africa: Inspire-Empower-Ignite.

This is a free conference on 28 and 29 July at City Hill Church, Inanda Road, Hillcrest for 1 000 nominated delegates – young women aged 15 to 36 from disadvantaged communities – and will deal with self-esteem, morals and goal-setting with Gcina Mhlophe; hygiene and etiquette; entrepreneurship and business idea generation; and CVs and interviews.

Talks from successful business people, include Eric Tocknell, Cindy Norcott and Nomfundo Webster, will be presented.

“The outcome of this event will be that the delegates will leave the conference uplifted, having been exposed to a number of successful people who started with very little but, through determination and hard work and faith, they succeeded despite the odds,” said Kim Griffith Jones.
