Robin Hood Foundation say cheers to R50 000 raised

The Robin Hood Foundation raised R50 000 through its Craft Beer and Wine Tasting evening at Kloof Country Club recently.

KLOOF Country Club was abuzz with 230 people all dressed in black and white enjoying craft beer and tasting wine and delicious snacks, courtesy of Lancewood Cheese, on Thursday, 7 May.

The fundraising event, the Craft Beer and Wine Tasting Evening for the Robin Hood Foundation, was made possible by organisers, Galeforce Marketing, and the generous sponsorship of BDO. An auction was held at the end of the evening, which brought the total raised for the event to close to R50 000. This money will be used by the Robin Hood Foundation for their various community initiatives – Love the Babies, Gogo Bags, Bless a Granny, Breakfast of Hope, Tea and Time and Christmas 4 Kids.

The Robin Hood Foundation celebrates 10 years of blessing the rich by giving to the poor. To learn more about their outreach projects, please e-mail Kim Griffith Jones on robinhoodfund@telkomsa.net.
