Kaei is eco-conscious

Winston Park Primary School is proud to have a pupil, Kaei Robertson, with such a developed eco-conscience.

KAEI Robertson, a Grade 7 pupil at Winston Park Primary School, is passionate about recycling and assists in the schools recycling programme as an active member of the school’s ECO team.

Kaei believes that raising awareness of recycling is crucial to save precious space in our landfill sites. He volunteers in Keep Hillcrest Beautiful Association’s recycling efforts. He is also a member of the First Hillcrest Scout Group. In addition to this, Kaei also volunteers at Umgeni Steam Railways every Saturday and on the last Sunday of the month when the train does its run from Inchanga to Kloof.

Kaei is to be commended for his participation and efforts in the recycling programme at the school. Milk bottles, cans, paper, cardboard and bread tags are all recycled.

Winston Park Primary School is proud to have a pupil with such an eco-conscience. He demonstrates that a small contribution from each of us can collectively make a significant impact on our planet. It is for this reason he has been chosen at the school’s SPAR Star of the Month.
