SPCA puts the spotlight on poultry farming

The Kloof and Highway SPCA will be discussing poultry farming at their upcoming meeting.

FOLLOWING their recent inspection at a local poultry farm, the Kloof and Highway SPCA will be discussing poultry farming at the next Golden Paw Society meeting.

Their observations made during the inspection will also be highlighted at the meeting, to be held on Thursday, 30 April at 9.30am at the SPCA’s Tea Garden, situated at 29 Village Road, Kloof.

Guests will also be addressed by a representative from a free range farm to assist consumers in making better choices.

All the charity shops will be open for those who wish to go shopping before or after the tea. Guests will also be invited for a guided tour around the animal shelter after the meeting.
