A woman succumbed to her injuries on Saturday morning after she was hit by a car on Friday night.

A WOMAN died on Saturday morning after she sustained severe injuries after being hit by a car the night before. According to ER24, the accident involving the woman, believed to be in her late 20s, occurred in Underwood Road, Pinetown.

When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene they found the woman lying on the road. Paramedics assessed the woman and found she sustained severe injuries. Advanced life support treatment was provided and she was transported to hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.The respective authorities were at the scene and will be investigating the accident.
