Waterfall College in Rotary Team Talk finals

Waterfall College have made it through to the Rotary Team Talk finals.

The Waterfall College team has made it into the finals of the Rotary Team Talk competition after competing in the semi-finals on Thursday, 19 March at Danville Park Girls’ High School in Durban.

The three matric learners, Heather MacGregor, Nandi Hadebe and Michaela Christophers, did an excellent job with their speech entitled ‘Talking For Tolerance’.

Mrs Bev Surmon, Waterfall College Head of English, summarised the girls’ talk by saying, “The more we hear each other’s stories, the less likely we are to tread on the soul of another.”

Earlier in the month, the Waterfall College team walked off with first place in the preliminary round of the Rotary Team Talk competition, which took place at Hillcrest High School.
