CRY Africa is hosting a 5km fun walk and 8km fun run at Giba Gorge Mountain Bike Park on Sunday, 15 February from 8am to raise funds and awareness for Project Rhino.
According to Cry Africa event organiser, Clair Crook, more than 1 250 rhinos were poached last year; the country has already reached 100 this year, and it is only the beginning of February.
“We desperately need to create awareness about rhino poaching and stop it in its tracks,” said Crook.
