N3 Pinetown accident leaves woman seriously injured

One person was seriously injured in an accident on the N3 south near the Richmond Road off-ramp on Monday, 26 January at around 12.22pm.

A report from the scene indicates that a car and a truck collided on the south-bound lane. Exact details are still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation.

Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the roadway obstructed with accident debris and the twisted frame of the vehicle causing a severe obstruction.

The female driver of the vehicle was found to have sustained serious injuries. After being treated at the scene by paramedics she was transported to a local hospital for additional medical care.
