Win tickets to Durban’s 80s concert

Win one of two double tickets to see some of the hottest 80s artists perform at Kings Park Stadium in February.

A SELECTION of some of your favourite 80s superstars will perform at the Kia Motors Rewind Music Festival at Growthpoint King Parks Stadium in Durban on Saturday, 7 February at 4pm.

Eighties revellers can look forward to a massive line-up featuring Billy Ocean (Caribbean Queen, Go West/King of Wishful Thinking), Nik Kershaw (Wouldn`t It Be Good), Heather Small from MPEOPLE (Moving on Up), Wang Chung (Everybody Have Fun Tonight) plus Hazell Dean (They Say It`s Gonna Rain). The festival also features SA’s 80s bands Cinema (My Kind Of Girl) and Face to Face (Here We Are). The two new bands added to the line up are Cutting Crew (I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight) and Katrina, of the former Katrina and the Waves (Walking On Sunshine). These artists will mesmerise you with all their greatest hits.

Returning to South Africa for the third time, the 80s Rewind Festival is the world’s biggest 80s festival with three massive festivals in the UK, as well as events in Thailand and the United Arab Emirates. First held in August 2009 in England, the event’s following has grown massively over the last five years and is considered a highlight on the festival circuit.

Between these artists they have produced massive chart toppers, sold millions of albums worldwide (achieving gold and platinum status) and won numerous music awards. Billy Ocean is one of Britain’s biggest recording stars ever, having sold more than 30 million records.
