A BIKER was killed in an accident on the M19, just before Otto Volek Road in Pinetown, on Sunday afternoon. A report from the scene indicated that the biker was travelling towards Pinetown, and as he went around the bend the motorbike veered off the roadway.
Netcare 911 media liaison, Chris Botha, said, “Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the biker lying on the ground, some distance from the wreckage of the bike. He died on scene due to the extensive injuries he sustained.”
Exact details surrounding the cause of the accident will remain a subject for police investigation.
