Markus is Hillcrest High’s top achiever

Hillcrest High School scored a 94.73 per cent matric pass rate.

HILLCREST High School was delighted to announce its 94.73 per cent pass rate. Its top matriculant, Markus Filter, obtained eight distinctions, including one for German language.

Deputy principal, Denise Knight, congratulated the balance of the pupils on some pleasing results.

Amy Russel achieved six distinctions, and Rebecca Hill, Luke Janus, Anesca Singh and head prefect, Shanice Singh, each achieved five distinctions.

Maxine Brooks, Kendall Buchanan, Shanique Coetzee, Monique Clubert, Sheyenne du Plooy, Jaret Foster, Kayla Haycock, Honey Nkomo and Fantasia van Staden each achieved four distinctions.

Knight thanked the hardworking and dedicated staff, the supportive parents and the pupils for achieving such fine results.
